Inserting greek and math symbols

Insert symbols and variables in text

When equations are displayed, you will often refer to the variables within your text or add a where list.

Greek letters are accessible by using the Insert Tab and selecting Symbol in the Symbols group.

Avoid using the equation editor in the body of the text to insert a italic variables or greek letters.

Modifications such as superscript or italics may be added using the buttons found on the Home Tab (or using keyboard shortcuts).
